Terms of Service

Welcome to DuoCast ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

DuoCast is an AI video studio that lets you create, schedule, and publish video shows hosted by AI-generated avatars. Output may be rendered using third-party providers (D-ID, ElevenLabs, Shotstack, OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) acting as our subprocessors.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create on DuoCast, except for provider-licensed assets (preset avatars, store assets, scene packs) which remain licensed to you only while your subscription is active.

3. Acceptable use

You will not use DuoCast to:

  • impersonate a real person without their explicit, verifiable consent;
  • generate content that defames, harasses, or threatens any person;
  • generate content involving minors in sexual or harmful ways;
  • violate copyright, trademark, or other IP;
  • attempt to bypass our safety, billing, or usage limits;
  • resell raw provider access without our written permission.

4. AI-generated content disclosure

Videos produced by DuoCast are AI-generated. You agree to mark them as such where required by the destination platform (YouTube's synthetic content disclosure, TikTok AI labelling, etc.).

5. Cloning and consent

If you create a clone of a real person's voice or face, you are responsible for obtaining and storing their explicit, written consent — and you assert this consent each time you flipcanPublishCloneContent on a host.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from /dashboard/pricing. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refunds.

We may pause your account for non-payment, suspected abuse, or violations of these Terms.

7. Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund window on the first charge of a new paid plan if usage is below 25% of the plan's monthly allowance.

8. Liability

DuoCast is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. For consumer disputes, the courts of the consumer's domicile have jurisdiction (Código de Defesa do Consumidor). For commercial / B2B disputes, the courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil have exclusive jurisdiction. Parties will attempt direct negotiation for 30 days before any litigation.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; significant changes will be emailed at least 14 days before they take effect.
